We’re delighted to announce the 2026 recipient of the GTUF Emerging Professional Award: Leigh Pham (Transgrid).
GTUF is proud to continue the Emerging Professional Award, created to recognise outstanding rising talent in the gas turbine community. This award is open to individuals with fewer than 10 years of hands-on experience who demonstrate exceptional technical expertise and promise.
In a highly competitive field, Leigh impressed the judging panel with her presentation on upgrade projects for Transgrid gas turbine facilities. Leigh’s interesting presentations over several GTUF events have shared the extraordinary process of modernising older equipment for safe and reliable operations.
As an alternative to receiving a prize for this year’s award, Leigh has asked that GTUF reinvest in an event for emerging professionals in conjunction with our 2026 conference. More details on this will follow via our LinkedIn and website pages.
